Alan, I am so very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was a good man and a good friend. My heart goes out to you and your mom during this difficult time. Will always remember the quail hunting trips your Dad and I along with your Uncle Buck enjoyed in our younger days. Your Dad will certainly be missed. Alan, our condolences are with you and your family. It has been our pleasure to share friendship with your dad and mom after coming to the New London area. We also were blessed to have known your grandparents through our First Methodist Church in Randleman during the formative years for our four sons. We remain grateful for their encouragement and kindness they so willingly shared to our young boys. Your dad learned well from his parents and continued to share the same love and kindness with interest in people. God given traits using a big heart. We are thankful to know four generations of Gibsons! Keep up the good work, Alan!

My mom and dad loved Walter and Mildred. I'm sure Lloyd Hunsucker was there to greet Walter on Sunday. We so enjoyed our summer beach trips with the entire family and have lasting, loving memories.
Alan and Mildred, Kelly and I are heartbroken at the passing of your father! Walter was certainly one of a kind! Please know that we are thinking about you folks at this time!
