She was an amazing individual who treated me like her own child, she would bring me to church with her every Sunday morning. I miss her but I know she is in a better place. Heaven is so lucky to have her.

As a teenager I worked in a local department store where a Vann was the accountant. She was so beautiful, proficient in her job, and kind to me. I looked up to her then and have always appreciated the family atmosphere there that Vann helped to foster.

The family of Vann, I am so sorry to hear of Vann's passing. I worked with JD and Vann years ago and we became the best of friends. She was always so sweet, thoughtful and giving. She and JD were made for each other. I know this is devastating to all the precious nieces and their families. JD and Vann loved them so much. God has another angel and JD and Vann are together as they were always meant to be. My heart aches. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Love to all,
Ann Pittman

Sending Prayers for God's Comfort during this sad time 🙏 💔

Vann and JD were our next-door neighbors when we lived in Woodcrest from 1967 to 1980. They were both genuinely fine folks, and were wonderful folks to have next door.
My best wishes and sincere condolences to the family.
