Ruby Smith Pickler, 91, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Trinity Place, Albemarle, NC. A graveside service will be held at the Stony Hill UMC Cemetery on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 3pm conducted by the Rev. Lesle Read Obituary

I met Ruby when she and my mom were at Taylor House. They became good friends the day they met! and remained close. They both had a mischievous streak and a strong will! After my mom passed, I continued to visit Ruby. I loved our conversations and will miss her.

My mother, Faye Taylor, and Mrs. Ruby worked together when I was a little girl. Mrs. Ruby would always take time to talk with me and she always made me feel special. She was a kind and compassionate lady and she will be greatly missed.
