Robert L. Garmon Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Leslie Garmon, Sr, 90, of Norwood, NC, passed away Friday December 22, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. A Graveside service is scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday December 27, 2023 at Randall’s United Methodist Church with the Rev. Hanna Barlow officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Mr. Garmon was born November 11, 1933, in Allen County, Kentucky and he was the son of the late Omar and Lena Garmon. He was a member of Randall’s United Methodist Church and was retired school Principal in Cabarrus County.
Mr. Garmon was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Gaddy Garmon. Other survivors include a son Robert L. Garmon, Jr. of Albemarle, NC, four daughters Becky Brantley and husband Dennis of Marshville, NC, Tammy Cauble and husband Ted of Norwood, NC, and Elizabeth Feidler and husband Kevin of Norris, TN and Anna Bundesman of Charlotte, NC. Ten grandchildren Shannon Harrington, Dennis Brantley, Jr., Dustin Brantley, Lesley Cauble, Amanda Cauble, Erin Beth Pinkston, Jesse Garmon, Caroline Bundesman, Kendall Bundesman and Julia Feidler and fifteen great-grandchildren.
