William David Christie WAXHAW, NC - David Christie, 69, of Waxhaw died on February 13, 2014. There will be a viewing on Friday night from 6-8 PM at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, February 22, 2014 at All Nations Christian Fellowship, Pastor Terry Whittenburg officiating.
Born in Milton, Florida, to the late William George and Bette Christie. He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
His love for his wife and family was second only to his love for Christ. A musician and composer, he served numerous churches as minister of music. He taught and discipled many to engage their faith with open eyes and honest intelligence. He had been serving in ministry at SIM for many years.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Jaunell Christie; 4 daughters, and 2 sisters. He was grandpa to 7.
