I first met David in 2007 at SIM. I was tasked to pick a new finance and donor system. I met with managers from every department, but it was soon clear, that for answers to hard questions, ask Dave. He was my rock. Two years later I was asked to direct the I.T. department, so for five years, we worked together solving difficult issues, and again he was my rock, not just as a technical adviser, but as a friend and spiritual brother. David, you are already greatly missed. Those words we all seek "Well done, good and faithful servant", are surely your inheritance. Your brothers and sisters at SIM.
A great friend and servant of Christ. He will be desperately missed. David was a true instrument of God, serving us in Ocean City, Maryland with humility and wisdom. Thank God for David and his amazing family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you! Love you all very much! Wish I could be there with you in person but know I'm there in spirit.
my dear Jaunelle and Leah, Wendy, Daune and Eve, my heart is broken at this news! David will be greatly missed in the Body of Christ here on earth as he so graciously shared his talents with so many of us. he and Bill are having a sweet reunion though. our loss is heaven's gain. my prayers and sincerest sympathies are with you all as you grieve. so thankful that we grieve with hope in knowing we'll all meet again. with much love, Carolie
May your father rest in peace, my thoughts and prayers for you and your family during this time of sorrow.
Jaunelle, Leah and Jon and family,We are both very sorry to hear of your sudden loss. We want you to know how much we did appreciate David, his beautiful piano virtuosity, his Christmas-in-the-Round, his opportunity for Tom to sing, his magnanimous smile and laughter. We will pray for you as you walk through this life in anticipation of seeing David again with our Lord who saves us and keeps us. Praise the Father for His great salvation and for eternity in His wonderful presence.
Jaunelle and girls,We are so sorry for your loss. We know David will be sorely missed. We ask our Lord to hold you in His arms in the hours and days ahead. Blessings to you all.
Father, I pray for Daune, her wonderful Mother and Sisters, the grandbabies and others in my circle of family and friends who are grieving...They're hurting for many reasons, and I ask You to help them through this season of loss. I reach out to You, the Father of compassion and the Source of every comfort, asking You to touch them with Your unfailing love and kindness. Be their God who comforts them as they're going through their struggles, and bring them through the tough things ahead. Come alongside them in their pain, and strengthen them so they'll one day be able to help others who face the same struggles. (2 Corinthians 1:3â€"4; Psalm 33:22; 1 Samuel 20:14a)
We were saddened by the sudden death of David. We have been praying for the family that God will comfort you all during this time of grieving. We know that David is with His Lord and know that we will be reunited with him in heaven someday but the separation is very hard until then. Take comfort from II Thessalonians 4:13-18 and Isaiah 41:10. May God lift you up during these days.
