Ramona Coble
Hartsell, 82, of Oakboro passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Atrium Health
NorthEast in Concord. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 13th
at 2:00 PM at Big Lick Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Springer officiating. The
family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 1:00 till 2:00
PM.
Born August
11, 1936 in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Charles Craig
Coble and Zora Belle Hinson Coble. Mrs. Hartsell worked for numerous years at
Stanly Knitting as an accounting secretary and was a lifelong member of Big
Lick Baptist Church.
Ramona was
preceded in death by her husband, Junior Lee Hartsell, her grandson, Landon
Matthew Murphy, and brother Charles Michael Coble. She is survived by her son,
Rocky L. Hartsell of Oakboro, daughter, Ginger Murphy and husband, David of
Matthews, NC, sisters, Evelyn C. Pope, Jorieta C. Efird, Grace C. Thomas,
Mildred C. Thomas, Frances C. Sloan, and Elizabeth C. McElduff.

flowers, memorials may be made to Big Lick Baptist Church at P.O. Box 622,
Oakboro, NC 28129.
