Nancy Priester, Jim carpenter and I were part of the fantastic AHS class of 1949! Nancy and Jim were a wonderful couple and I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful memories of her family. Nancy Carpenter was a life long learner. She was an excellent teacher in the public schools and First Lutheran Church. While focusing on helping her students learn the subject material, she did so with a wry sense of humor. A gracious lady, Nancy made everyone feel that she deeply cared and genuinely wanted to help however she could. She was a member of the Greatest Generation and always showed outstanding human nature and service. Prayers for her family.
