Loudine Burris Herrin, 85, of Oakboro passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 in the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.? Her funeral service will be 2 PM Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Wayne Bennett officiating a Read Obituary

God promises us at Revelation 21:3-4 that he, " will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Loudine was my dear friend for over 50 years. Never had a cross word with each other. My kids were her kids and her kids were mine. I feel as if part of me has died. I know she is in a better place and is in no more pain. but dear God I am going to miss her. So go rest high on that mountain your work has been completed.Rejoice with your loved ones..

I am so sorry for your loss. Lou Dane was one of the first people I ever worked with when I started my career in 1967. She was a blessing to me always kind and helpful . I know she will be missed. My regards to all of the family.
