I just learned of this. I regret I did not know until now. What a truly great and honorable man. He was one of the best teachers and professors I have ever known. He will be sorely missed.

Dr. Murray was always so humble and helpful. I remember after graduating I chose a different career path, but then ended up back in music education. He offered his time and expertise to me to help me in my first year as a music teacher. He even donated some handmade dulcimers to my classroom! He will definitely; e missed!
My relationship with Dr. Murray shaped my career path. He was a life long mentor to me. He will be missed.Brandon Crumpton
Ken was more than a colleague to me. Not long after my wife Karen and I arrived on campus, Ken offered to teach us how to play tennis, and that began a very special relationship with him, Jane and Stewart. He was a gentle man whose smile always made you feel welcome and valued. His presence will certainly be missed, but his positive influence will remain in the people who were privileged to know him.
One of the first faculty members I had the pleasure of working with was Dr. Murray. I will always remember our time together on the golf course. I will surely miss him.
