Katherine Norma Jean Parsons Cox, 79, of Albemarle, NC, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 in her home with her loving daughters at her side. Her funeral service will be 2pm Thursday, July 15, 2021 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremati Read Obituary
This was a very special Christian lady who loved her Lord and family very much and it showed. She and Lathan were great Christian influences on me and I will always remember them. My prayers are with the family and I know Katherine will be missed. If we can help in any way please call.

My sincere condolences to the Parsons Cox family. Ms. Katherine was the most loving and considerate person I had ever met. I am grateful for her tremendous support of me and my daughter over the span of 40 years! She and her husband were the parents of my best friend, Sherrie, and they welcomed me in as if I were one of the family. While we are sad to hear of her departure, my soul rests easy knowing that she is Heaven-bound. She and her husband were the best examples of Christianity.
