Deepest Sympathy to Karen's family - I sure will miss a friend who truly cared about each person. She kept in touch although she was far away and will miss talking with her. But she has a special place in Heaven and will be with Dave her "best love" again.
Our deepest sympathies to Karen's family. We have all lost a beautiful, loving lady.Thank you Karen for all your warm emails, and for sharing your delicious recipes. Also for the lovely pieces of jewelry that you made. Also, thank you for all the little kitties that you adopted and loved. We will miss you very much.
To the family of my dear friend, Karen Medlin Gott. Karen and I have been friends for 40 years or more. I loved her very much and will miss her a lot. She was a special person in my life. To know her was to love her. I will miss her phone calls, emails and just knowing she was there. May God wrap His loving arms around all of you and give you peace.
My family and I have so many fond memories of Smith, Sarah & Karen. We lived across the street from this wonderful family for most of my childhood years. Smith & Sarah were like grandparents to me and my sisters. We always listed for the green bug to pull into the yard because we knew Mr. Smith(What we called him) would have peppermints in his pocket. Sarah taught me how to cross stitch. Karen had the most beautiful voice and I loved during cooler months how you could always hear her singing from her opened bedroom window. Smith, Sarah & Karen would attend our impromptu weekend fish fry that would always end in an all night singing. I count my life so blessed that I had the privilege of knowing this family and I cannot wait to see them again in heaven. All my love and sympathy to the family and I know Karen will be greatly missed.
Karen was a wonderful lady and we shared the same birthday. She truly loved her family and loved sharing stories about them. I know she is smiling in Heaven right now so happy to see Dave and her other family. What a blessing she was in my life and I pray for those that are left behind to share her memories. May God bless this sweet friend.
I had the privelage of meeting Karen almost 2 years ago. In that short time, she brought so much joy to my life. I will miss that smiling face and hearing her call me "sweet cheeks!" Such a kind, loving woman!!! She will be greatly missed!!
The Staff of Davis Funeral Home and Cremation Service sends our condolences to the family during their time of sorrow.
Karen was a very lovely lady, and we feel privileged to have had her friendship, even for a short while. Her lovely smile and positive outlook in spite of difficulties inspired us. I know she is rejoicing in Heaven with the angels before God's throne.
I was shocked the to read of her death.I didn't know she was sick. She called me after Lisa died & we had a ball talking.,remembering when she helped me some in the Florist, when she was working at Register of deeds & called me to see if I wanted a new name, wanted to be boy or girl, a new birth day....She found that I was just listed as baby Courtney born in June.We kicked a few names around, had some good laughs, just being like old times, but stayed female named Mable & born June 11. I never had a middle name & we came up with some good one, but didn'd add them, thank goodness,That was Karen & I , WE COULD MAKE EVERYTHING FUN & HAPPY. Keep them smiling up there Karen & sing for them , your Friend-----Mable
