Joyce Ann Hinson's Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Ann Privett Hinson, age 81, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Jesse Helms Nursing Center.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 700 E. Sunset Drive, Monroe, NC, 28112.
Interment will follow in the Monroe City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hinson was born on June 3, 1934, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Dexter Lee Privett and Essie Case Privett. She was a manager in food service and sales.
She was preceded in death by her son Donald M. Hinson, Jr.; and her two sisters Susan Pierce and Jane Crump.
She is survived by her loving husband Donald M. Hinson, Sr.; her daughter Dorothy Ann Riddle (Tony) of Stanley, NC; and her son Victor M. Hinson (Jennifer) of Monroe, NC. There are seventeen grandchildren and thirty two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM Monday evening, February 8, 2016, at Davis Funeral Home, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112.
