Mr. Joseph "Joe" Ray Cox, age 98, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016, at his residence. Graveside funeral services to celebrate his life will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Walte Read Obituary

I am sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in the promises at Revelation 21;4 that reads; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things has passed away." The Bible gives us hope that one day our dead loved ones will be brought back to life.

Mr. Joe was a wonderful person, he was a kind and loving man and he knew where he was going when he passed from this world. Mr. Joe was one of the last "good men" in our generation and he will truly be missed by all that knew him. We are praying the family of this kind man.
