Jane and girls and other family, sad too hear about this. Worked with John for many years at UPS, used to run to TN. out of Charlotte. Visited you'all a time or two and went to the fish camp. I retired in 2003, think John retired before I did. God Bless from Teresa and I. Will pray for you, all.
We know that on Thursday morning Johnny walked into the arms of Jesus. Our prayers are with you Jane and the family. Years ago Johnny told Joe and I that he would call us when UPS wentpublic. True to his word, he called us to tell us we could now buy stock. When Joe was teaching the SS class, you both were so faithful to comeevery Sunday although you had to leave early for Jane's job. Severalyears ago Jennifer and I stopped for tomatoes and Johnny came out totalk to us. He took time to talk about Joe and Jennifer remarked how kind he was. Although Johnny was so sick, he took the time to call usto thank us for our prayers and cards. This was 23 days before he wentto heaven. You have run the race with patience...
The Staff of Davis Funeral Home and Cremation Service sends our condolences to the family during their time of sorrow.
Jane, Michelle, and the family - all of us that have shared in friendship with Johnny, now share in the loss of a great man. Johnny was a very special friend to many of us and we are richer for knowing him as our friend and wise counsel. Jane and Greg Carpenter
