John Cavender, 85, retired MCPO (E9), USN, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday September 15,2020 at his home. A private memorial service will be held in memory of John. There will not be a family visitation. Mr. Cavender was born A Read Obituary
Verda and Family we are so sorry to hear of Johns passing. I always looked forward to seeing him at family gatherings and enjoyed our conversations. I would have loved to have known more about our families. He was always so nice and kind and it was a blessing and privilege to know. I was so proud of him. I have have fond memories of you all. Verda, Angie and family we were sad to hear of John's passing. He fought a good fight and now can rest in the arms of his Saviour. John was a wonderful man and friend. His work in the church spoke well of him. He and Verda completed any gathering. They are just good people. May you all be comforted in the days to come as you adjust to life without him. We will miss him too.
