Joe Dalton Parker,'s Obituary
Joe Dalton Parker Jr., 45 of Richfield, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. A Funeral service for Mr. Parker will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel officiated by Rev. Jeremy Blake. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care.
Joe was born March 20, 1972 in Stanly County to Joe Dalton Parker Sr. of Richfield and Linda Jenkins Fesperman of Albemarle. Mr. Parker was a graduate of North Stanly High School and worked as a maintenance engineer for 18 years with Michelin Tire of Norwood. Joe loved his family dearly, was an avid deer hunter, enjoyed cooking, and coached his children?s teams through North Stanly sports. He also was an Eagle Scout and a member of Zion United Methodist Church.
Mr. Parker is survived by his wife Kimberly Johnson Parker of the home; sons Austin Kiner Parker and Jacob Reed Parker of Albemarle; daughter Callie Ruth Parker of Albemarle; parents Joe Dalton Parker Sr. of Richfield and Linda and Ed Fesperman of Albemarle; step son Nicholas Todd Donaldson of the home; step daughters Jessica Elizabeth Donaldson and Ashlea Grace Donaldson of the home; brother Jason Donald Fair Parker (Tiffiny) of Oakboro; grandfather Donald R. Jenkins of Albemarle; step brother Steven Fesperman of Denver, NC; step sisters Tanya Loftin of Charlotte, NC, and Sabrina Keidel of Concord, NC; niece Allison Parker; nephew Dalton Parker; step nieces Kimberly Chandler and Kristen Elizarraras; step nephews Devin Fesperman and Christopher Stancil.
