Joe Phillip Faulkner's Obituary
Joe Phillip Faulkner, 74, of Norwood, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, at Silver Springs Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mark Little. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the church sanctuary from 10:00 – 10:45 AM.
Mr. Faulkner was born on October 9, 1949, to the late Clevon Linwood and Ruth Davis Faulkner.
He spent thirty-one years working in the Criminal Justice System with twenty years as a Law Enforcement officer and eleven as a Magistrate.
He was married to the late Josie Little Faulkner who preceded him in death in 2019. Also preceding him in death was a brother, David Faulkner. Mr. Faulkner is survived by his daughter, Jaime Faulkner Crozier and husband Jeff of Reno, NV, and his daughter Jodee Faulkner, of Liberty, NC, and brother Billy Faulkner of Albemarle as well as his special friend, Shaunda Williams of Norwood and five grandchildren, Jacob Crozier, Avery Crozier, Aunika Crozier, Ashlee Miller and Ashton Dickens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Silver Springs Baptist Church, 16072 NC Hwy 138, Norwood, NC 28128.
