Jeff Richards' Obituary
Jeff Richards, 48, of Albemarle left this earth suddenly on May 7, 2023 at his home.
Born August 20, 1974 to Sonny and Elaine Richards, Jeff was a talented musician and
songwriter. In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his sister Jennifer Richards of
Summerville, SC.
Jeff will be remembered for his talent, his quick wit, his love for animals, and his heart
for people, especially his many friends. A Celebration of Life featuring his music will be
held Saturday May 27 11 - 1 at Uwharrie Brewing where he loved performing, hosted
by his friends. A simple Remembrance Service will be held June 3 at 11:00 am at City
Lake Park. Everyone is welcome to attend one or both. Jeff’s family has created a
memorial fund that will benefit animals and the less fortunate. Donations may be
mailed to Pinnacle Financial Partners PO Box 489, Albemarle NC 28002 with checks
made to Jennifer Richards - 7786. PayPal donations may be made to
[email protected]. Hopes are that this fund will meet needs in this
community for years to come.
