Jeannie Laney's Obituary
Mrs. Jeannie Starnes Laney, age 58, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016, at CMC-Union, in Monroe, NC.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 1418 Clarksville Campground Road, Monroe, NC, 28112 officiated by Preacher Mark Evans and Preacher Danny Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, prior to the funeral service in the church sanctuary.
Mrs. Laney was born on September 17, 1958, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of Louis Francis Starnes and Maxine Sheppard Starnes.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Debra Marie Laney in 2008.
Survivors include her husband Tommy E. Laney of Monroe, NC; her two daughters Jennifer Laney Frady (Steve) and Rosalynn Laney both of Monroe, NC; her two granddaughters Shelby Frady and Kaitlynn Frady both of Monroe, NC; her parents Louis and Maxine Starnes of Monroe, NC; her three brothers Lewey Starnes, Tobey Starnes (Trudy), and Baden Starnes all of Monroe, NC; and her sister Markey Laney (Greg Anderson) of Waxhaw, NC.
