Janice's parents and my parents were good friends. We would visit often and Janice and I would always find something to get into. She was a sweet and thoughtful person. Will never forget her and her family. God bless you. I know you're having a wonderful time with all your family members who went before you. Love you, Janice.

I was completely shocked when I heard of the passing of Janice. Moma J, as I called her, was a very dear friend of mine. I met her and Eddie 3 yrs ago when the home agency I work for assigned me to the Blalocks. I had no idea that first day at their home that i would become good friends with her and Eddie. She made me feel like one of her own. I watched her care for Eddie with such grace and patience and most of all love. She loved him and he loved her. We would sit on her front porch and drink coffee and talk about our families and this and that and the other. She loved her family so much. Her son Brian was the true love of her life. Her grandsons were her pride and joy but Lilly and Lucas were the absolute loves of her life. She love Laura and Jennifer. She was so proud of each and every one of her kids. Janice was a Godly and was true to her faith. She loved everyone. She always told me before I left her house or talked on the phone or texted that she loved me. She would always give me a candle or some sort of little something as a gift. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. And she did one. I had gotten something on my shirt one day and it wouldn't do gor her but to let me borrow one of hers so she could wash mine for me. That's the kind of person she was. She loved with her whole heart!!!!! She gave with her whole heart! She cooked and baked with her whole heart too. She made THE BEST cherry pound cake and I didn't even like cherries until one day she offered a piece for me. OH MY LOOORRRRD it was so goood!!! Poor Eddie didn't get to finish that cake that time!!! I'm missing moma J already. I miss her laugh. I miss her face!! Most of all I miss the love she had for me and everyone who ever crossed her path knows what I mean. To Brian ,Laura, Derek, Justin and Jennifer and Lucas and Lilly, you all are in my thoughts and my prayers. I love y'all. May God bless you and give you peace and comfort and strength in the days and .oaths to come. LOVE ON EACH OTHER in the way that moma Janice did and would.
We have known Janice since our school days. Always thought a lot of her. A good person and a good friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Our prayers are with the family.
Janice was a great example of a true friend. She was a kind and forgiving soul who never met a stranger and would help anyone she could. She showed kindness to me and I enjoyed our visits and talks about her beautiful flowers. She will truly be missed earth side😔, but heaven gained a beautiful soul. ❤️
