JW - I remember how much fun y'all had at the square when it snowed years ago.
I was reading these nice comments that James's family and friend's had made and I want to thank y'all. I was making it pretty good until I started reading, and thinking.. He was more than a brother. He was my Big Brother!! He has been a buddy and a friend ever since I was born. The last thing we said to each other was "I love ye". I can look back on my life and every second of being around James Lowder was good. I want to thank all of you again..... And......I love ye Big Brother....
I got James and Robert's names mixed up...so sorry...please forgive me...like I said it has been a long time since I have visited my long lost family in Albemarle and surrounding cities...I talk to Jerry Lowder about once a month and Wanda Sossamon and I are friends on Facebook...If any of you want to request to be my friend at Wallace N Evelyn Sharp....JW and I are also friends on FB...I can't wait to see everyone and I am praying for you...Love Evelyn Morton Sharp
I want to wish Robert's family the love of God and Jesus Christ in this time of grief....especially to his children...son Tommy...daughters Nancy...Julie...and Cathy...also to his brother JW....and his sister Elizabeth and to his 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren....I am one of Bill Morton's daughters...so Robert was my first cousin....May you all find some peace in this time of losing your beloved family member and friend...I want to come visit soon but I have lost two cousins...James and Robert before I could get there...I am so sad and heart broken....Please remember I have never forgotten any of y'all...I loved Uncle Ernest and Aunt Eliza (Daddy's sister) so much...Two of the sweetest people I have ever known...My thoughts and prayers are with all of y'all and I pray for peace in your lives....Love all of you...Evelyn Morton Sharp
So sorry to hear about James. I worked with him at Wiscassett and have many fond memories of him, even stopped by his home a couple times to talk about old trucks. He was a good man and will be missed.
I send my thoughts and Prayers to the family of James Lowder. I worked at the place where James an William drank coffee the best men I knew may you all find peace at this difficult time R.I.P. James fly high....
Nancy and family I send my sincere sympathy on the passing of your Dad. May God comfort each of you in the days ahead.
Our deepest condolences and prayers to the Lowder family. James loved his family very much. I thank God I had the privilege to call him my friend.
Tommy,Nancy,Julie,Cathy,Lib and J.W., I was sad to hear about James passing, but rejoicing to know that he is home with Cille,Eddie,Robert,Teen,Carolyn and the rest of the family. I remember James when we were growing up as being a really fun guy to be around. I'll never forget him staying at our house when me and Ruby were just little girls and he made us laugh all the time. He would tell us he was gonna "knock a hinky" on our heads when we would pester him. I can still smell that hair tonic he used on that dark hair of his. That was a fun time for us kids. It's really sad for me to hear of my cousins passing away and I've not been able to go down and visit them for many years. But,I know I'll see them again some day in heaven. Please know that I love every one of you and I will be praying for God's peace and comfort to flood your hearts and souls in the days and weeks to come.
