we are praying for the Broome family as a whole.
To the Broome Family-you are all in our prayers. We grieve along with you at Boot's passing, and rejoice at his home going. Thank you for sharing him with us for all of these many years. May the peace of our Savior hold and comfort you, knowing that He keeps His promises...
I am sorry for the loss of your dear "Boot". During times like this our God gives each one of us a very real hope of actually enjoying life with our passed loved ones once again right here on this good earth. At John 5:28 and 29 Jesus himself tells us that those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out to a resurrection of life, similar to how he resurrected his friend Lazarus. Lazarus was resurrected back to life on earth. That is in harmony with God's original purpose for humans, to "fill the earth and subdue it". (Genesis 1:28) God's original purpose for humans has not changed. To see our passed loved ones again on a beautified earth is a hope few dare to dream about, much less firmly believe in. This hope has helped me get through some tough times and I hope it helps you now. When some time has passed, feel free to visit jw dot org for more comfort. Again, I am sorry for your loss. MN
He will be missed by many of us ,who came into his store. He was always so kind and friendly. My grandson loves to stop by every afternoon to get snacks and I loved seeing him sitting and drinking his coffee, He also had a kind word for everyone. My daughter spoke of him often and also stopped by on her way home from school, when she was in high school. My thoughts and prayer to his family.
Mr. Broome was a very sweet man, I had often had small chats with him at breakfast time at roughedge. He will be missed but I know heaven gain a beautiful wonderful angel. Praying for the family and friends during this time of need.
