I only just learned of the death of Jack, or "Mr. McIver" as I usually called him. He loved doing genealogy and partnered with me to host one of the "field trips" for his genealogy classes (this one at the Union County Library). He and his lovely wife were always gracious whenever they visited the Dickerson Genealogy & Local History Room at the Library. And of course his "McIver" family history book is on the shelf in the room. As with many of "my" patrons, I lost touch and even more so after I retired. I know he is happy to be with his dear Linda again. My sympathy to his family and friends. We have lost a fine gentleman.
