Jack Faulkner and I attended the East Albemarle School together for eight years. He was an avid football player and tried to organize games during many recesses. Now I'm talking about tackle, not tag or flag! After East Albemarle we attended and graduated from Albemarle High School in 1956. After graduation I went off to college and then came out to Las Vegas so I lost contact with Jack for 60 years. In 2016 before our 60th anniversary graduation, I called him at his home in Albemarle. He told me he was going to try to attend the reunion. He came to the Friday night get together at the Albemarle Inn and then the dinner at Hamanco's. My wife Ming got some photos of him mixing with some of his classmates and one can see him on the DVD of our 60th reunion. I've been terrible over the years in keeping in contact with my classmates and the wonderful people there in Stanly County but Jack Faulkner has always had a small place in my heart. And always will. We've lost a special one.
Our prayers are with the family.
Our deepest and sincere condolences to Sylvia and Family. I always enjoyed the conversations that Jack and I had. He was a faithful husband, father, and dedicated Mason and Shriner. Jack will be missed dearly. Rest in Peace Brother.
So sorry to hear of his passing. Praying for his family. May Jesus comfort y'all at this time.
So sorry for your loss. Jack will be missed.
Sylvia and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Phil thought so much of
Jack and the time they worked together.
Sending Doug and Dina and all the family prayers and sincere condolences.
