Hattie Dyk's Obituary
Mrs. Hattie Dyk, age 95, of Kirkland, Washington, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014, at Angel Caring Adult Family Home Assisted Living in Kirkland, Washington.
The Dyk famly would like you to join in the celebration of her life and in praise to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, May 16. Everyone is invited to the interment service at the Waxhaw City Cemetery. Procession to the cemetery will begin at the JAARS Townsend Building at 12:30. At 2:00 PM there will be a Memorial Service at the JAARS Townsend Auditorium. The family will receive friends at reception following the service.
Mrs. Dyk was born on July 9, 1918, in Nieuw Beyerland, The Netherlands. A daughter of the late Ryk Vander Vos and Cornelia Visser Vander Vos. She was a retired Bookkeeper for the JAARS Center in Waxhaw.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Egbert Dyk.
Survivors include three daughters, Janet Dyk, Bea Dyk Hartt, and Carolyn "Trudie" Dyk.
