To Amy, Courtney, and Chandler, our deepest condolences. We had the privilege of around a decade spent in Greg’s orbit. Wade worked on Alcoa projects with Greg in the US, Iceland, Greenland, Trinidad, and Saudi Arabia. He was the best of company, a compassionate and dependable source of wisdom, endowed with an extraordinary capacity for finding common ground in complexity, no matter any cultural differences that might exist His quiet sense of humour, and his sense of the absurd were always there, running in parallel with his sharp technical skills, and seemingly tireless commitment to the tasks at hand. He earned respect and affection wherever he went. We’re deeply saddened to hear of his passing. But he made the world a better place by being here.
