I have just learned of Gerald's Passing. I had the honor of working with Gerald for a short time at C&A where I first met him. He was a class act and good man_ always friendly and willing to help any way he could. Later we played on the same softball team. He was an outstanding pitcher in all respects. He made the community a better place and for that and other reasons he is and will continue to be sorely missed. My condolences to his brother Tommy and his family. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I personally know the loss of a loved one, and the pain can seem overwhelming. However, I found comfort in the Bible's promise for the future. Acts 24:15 speaks of a resurrection, a time when God will reunite us with our lost loved ones again. I hope this helps bring some comfort in this time of sorrow.

I had the pleasure of playing on a Pop Warner football team in the 1960's that Jerry helped coach. He was an enjoyable man to be around and a great motivator to those of us young boys at that time. He was a great gentleman and our world is a better place because he was here.

With sadness I read of Jerry's passing. Knew him for many,many years - a great friend - - will miss his out-going personality and friendship. Spent may hours participating in sports with him and Tommy. Prayers to all the family members - He will be greatly missed. Worked with his father, Wilbur, also a great human being for many years at C&a Traffic Dpt where he taught me many things about the trucking industry. His is a wonderful family - may God grant them peace at this time.

Sorry for your loss. He will be miss on his visit to Ingles bakery employees. I admire and thought a lot of him. Plus respected him just as a person who seen every week for almost over 15 years putting in the order for the church. It will not be the same. I am so sorry again .from the Ingles bakery manager and the employees in the bakery.
