Devoy Griffin's Obituary
Mr. Franklin Devoy Griffin, age 76, of Wingate, NC passed away Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018 at CMC-Main in Charlotte, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 27th at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 E. Franklin St., Monroe, NC, 28118, officiated by Rev. Phil McLean.
Interment will follow at Wingate City Cemetery, Wingate, NC.
Mr. Griffin was born on November 27th, 1941, in Union County, NC a son of the late Hugh T. Griffin and Nellie Grace Taylor Griffin. He was the owner of Griffin's Barber Shop in Monroe, NC.
Survivors include his wife Sally Tucker Griffin of Wingate, NC, two sons, Gary Griffin of Monroe, Steve Griffin, of Monroe, a daughter, Sharon Griffin of Monroe, and a sister, Jean Brucke of Monroe.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday, January 26th at Davis Funeral Service, 1003 E. Franklin St., Monroe, NC, 28112.
