USS JOHN F KENNEDY CV-67
Dennis "COUNTRY" Aldridge and I served together on the USS JOHN F KENNEDY CV-67 together in the V-1 DIVISION on the flight deck. We experience and witnessed life and death together in a very dangerous job. Dennis was always a brave hard working person, and great friend to a lot of people and myself. We traveled the world together while working in war zones and 3rd world countries that were very poor. Our home station was in Norfolk VA when we came back home. I recently reconnected with Dennis after 40 years with the help of his friendly wife Annita. We were speaking for about the last 3 years about our service years and life right now together. I am saddened to hear this terrible news and send my deepest condolences to his entire family and friends. I love Dennis COUNTRY ALDRIDGE like a bother forever and GOD BLESS him and his family from the entire V-1 DIVISION on the USS JOHN F KENNEDY CV-67.

I'll never forget the time that Dennis hid under the swinging bridge at the farm when me and my boyfriend were walking to it and he grabbed my foot!!!! We ran back to the house thinking it was a Bigfoot!!!! He would pick corn out of the field and leave big footprints and we'd think they were Bigfoot footprints!!!! He was always doing something to get us. Heehee We will miss you until we meet again honey!!!
Dennis ray i feel so very lost without you now I know I've got Annette and Shannon and the c rest of the family on Garrett St. But we have a special bond that can't be broken im not saying bye ill see u one day in heaven what a glorious day that will be Dennis you are my heart and soul I love you and im gonna miss you so very much I promise you ill be ok I love you Dennis ray rip.
