Kyle, my prayers are with you and your family. Your mother was such a kind and gracious lady, and I always enjoyed seeing her.
I am so sorry for your lost. I remember growing up on Avondale -Avenue with you and thinking what a sweet Mother you had. Now she is in Heaven taking care of those that went before her.
I had the privilege of working with Dennie at the hospital for a period of time. She always had a smile and a good word for everyone. She definitely made the world a better place. My heartfelt sympathy is with her family during this time. Heaven gained another angel.
Love miss Dennie, I will miss her sooo much, prayers are being sent for her family.
Dennie was a special lady and I worked with her at the hospital. She was a real Christian lady and such a joy to be around and had a wonderful sense of humor. God bless the family of this nice lady.
Kyle, Matt, and David so sorry to hear about your mom. Yes, your mother was the sweetest lady ever. She always welcomed all of us into her home. Thinking about you all.
I have many fond memories of your mom. She was such a sweet woman. I am glad I had to grow up in the church and neighborhood with her. I am so sorry for your loss. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
Mrs. Carpenter was one of my all-time favorite patients. Her sweet, loving spirit just shone out of her. I told her once that if we could bottle her attitude, we'd be onto something.... she was a remarkable person.
I don't know if there are words to described Dennie....she was always looking out for evryone around her. She was always wanting to help anyone...and extended her friendship and love to all around her. My fond memories was going shopping with her and Lucille Carpenter Curlee to all the outlets around Albemarle and having lunches in nice places. She and Hall welcomed me and Mike into the family with open arms that will never be forgotten. Family get togethrs were always made special with them and their family. Mike always had a place in his heart for both Hall and Dennie as he use to go with Hall to pick her up from work in his early years. God has selected a wonderful lady to help in Heaven. Our hearts and prayers are for all her family who will miss that lovely personality.
It has been such a privilege to reconnect with Dennie and her sweet family when visiting The Taylor House. We all knew this time would come, so please know much she will be missed by my mom and me. You have all shown her such amazing love and care, lessons you learned well from her! Prayers for you as you go through these days of remembering and celebrating a wonderful lady!
