David Russell Tracy's Obituary
David Russell Tracy, 70, of Oakboro passed away April 15, 2020 in his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Born October 3, 1949 in Southington, CT David was the son of the late Russell E. Tracy and the late Hedwig Schultz Tracy.
David attended Silver Star Cowboy Church in New Salem. He was a member of Classic Cruisers of Monroe and enjoyed taking his 1978 Ford Ranchero to all the local cruise-in?s. David had a loving heart and made friends wherever he went.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Patricia Rochelle Tracy of the home; grandchildren, Denise Mobbs (Philip) of Canton, GA, and Jessica Bessette of Bristol, CT; great-grandchildren, Alize, Hunter, and Mason Mobbs and Farrah Griswold. David is also survived by a brother-in-law, Wesley Rochelle, niece, Stacey Rochelle, nephew, Kyle Rochelle, cousin, Marcia Plocharsky, and his cherished extended family, Wendy Rochelle Croft, Andrea and Gary.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Silver Star Cowboy Church Missions Fund at 6138 R.A. Austin Rd. Marshville, NC 28103.
