Hi Patry, I only met you a few times when I was a teenager and I came to your house with my mom and dad, my mom is David's 1st cousin, Karen. I am so very sorry to learn of his passing, I was looking for him online because my mom is in a nursing home now and she asked about him. She has advanced dementia but remembered him as a child and wanted to speak with him. My father is passed. This was not the outcome I was expecting.

I only knew Dave for a short time Im not much with words but Dave was a simple man .From the second I shook his hand I knew he was the kind of man that comes a long in your life to give it more meaning ..He said what he mint and mint what he said .I never heard him say a disparaging word about anyone. He kept a little notebook in his pocket with the dates of all the cruse -ins and how far they were from his house .Dave You will be missed.our loss will be heavens gain. I will never look at a Cruse-in quite the same way

II'll always remember all the coffees and talks we had together daily., and when he retired he called often to tell me about the progress on the ranchero and all about the car cruises he would go to and the new friends he made there, I'm glad he got to enjoy some of the things he loved when he retired, I wish he had many more years of retirement but I believe he went happy! I will miss him very much !! So goodbye my friend and rest easy until we meet again, love Trish , Tracy, Heidi & Laura. Your Patco friends! Ps work was never the same after you left, but we all have some pretty awesome memories! Say Hi to the " reindeer " for me!

I also have only known David for a short time but he will be remembered for the shared interest in his Ranchero and my El Camino. My car inspired him to replace some things on his car and he did a great job. He will be missed at our cruise ins and car shows,

I've only know David for a few short years (a small blip in our life cycle). I was immediately taken by his hand shake and offer of friendship. We shared an interest in many ways but overwhelmingly for our passion to our cars. David became a regular member of our Classic Cruisers of Monroe club and rarely missed any of our weekly cruise ins. David was well liked by all that met him. Just a super guy. He will be sorely missed at our Cruise Ins and as a dear friend. On behalf of the Classic Cruisers of Monroe our sincerest condolences to Patricia and the family. May he forever be in our hearts. R.I.P.
