I met Cory when I was 13 years old, we crossed paths on a mission trip in Virginia with East Campus Baptist Church. Cory was certainly one of a kind. He wanted to get to know every single person, what they were like on the inside, their heart and their soul. He cared so deeply for each person he loved. He told me all about his life, it's like God placed us both there for a reason. He became very close with my sister Madison who was also on the mission trip, months and years after the trip we would randomly be contacted my Cory, he was always meant to be in our life somehow. Cory was an angel on earth, not a mean bone in his body. I have prayed for Cory since I met him, I truly loved him and am so sad he's no longer here. But I know the Lord will take great care of him since he's Home now. Prayers to his friends and family.
I am very sorry for your loss . Losing a loved one in death is such a difficult thing to experience . Please be comforted by the promises in the Bible . Jesus tells us at John 5 : 28 , 29 that all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out . What a loving provision put in place by the God of all comfort so we can have the assured hope of seeing our dead loved ones live again one day . Meanwhile as I pray for that day to come I ask God to bless your family and give each of you the strength to endure this most trying time .
