Clifton Hurley, 79, of Albemarle passed away peacefully Monday, December 5, 2022 in his home with his loving family by his side. His funeral service will be 11am Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Stony Hill United Methodist Church wit Read Obituary
I'm so deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Clifton. He was a man I truly enjoyed talking to and being around when we would see each other. Sue, Dana and Joy and the entire family, you all are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I pray for strength and comfort in the days and weeks ahead. My family, the Litaker family, and the Hurley family, lived in the Anderson Heights Subdivision for over 50 years. My husband Wayne passed in 2000 but I remained there until this past February. Clifton and Sue's two daughters were always playing at my house with my sons and other neighborhood children. I watched these girls grow up and Clifton and my husband had many discussions as did his wife Sue and myself. Lots of wonderful and fond memories going back for over 50 years. Such a wonderful family and I will always treasure those memories I hold dear to my heart. Those were special times. God Bless this family and prayers lifted 🙏 for them during this difficult time. Loves for each and every one of you.
