Cleveland "Sandy" Ramsey's Obituary
Cleveland "Sandy" Ramsey, 71, of Midland passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Atrium Health Northeast, Concord. His funeral service will be 2 PM Friday, June 14, 2019 at Mill Grove United Methodist Church, Midland, with the Rev. Arval Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon until 1:30, prior to the service.
Born December 25, 1947 in Concord, NC he was the son of the
late Charlie C. Ramsey and Edith Page Ramsey Price. He was a retired carpenter and was of the
Christian Faith. Mr. Ramsey loved to
hunt and to garden. He enjoyed working
on lawn mowers and he loved his weenie dogs.
Mr. Ramsey is survived by his fianc? Gladys Haigler of Midland, son Joseph Ramsey of Albemarle, daughters, Gina McCoy of Midland, Tracy Glosson of Midland, and Candice Ramsey of Albemarle, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his sister, Corliss Meggs.
