Carolyn Beatrice Eudy Hatley, 87, of Albemarle passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 in the Taylor House. Her funeral service will be graveside at 3 PM on Monday, November 20, 2023 in the Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cem Read Obituary
I always loved "Bonkey" as she was called in the family. From the time I was a child she was part of our family. Bill and Bonkey were a great couple and I loved them both. Just like Ted and Vonne they were two very special couples. We will see them again one day and what a happy time that will be. May God comfort each of you in the days ahead is my prayer. I love ya'll.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of sweet Carolyn. I had stopped by yesterday morning to visit and they told me. She was such a sweet and gentle soul. I always looked forward to stopping by her room at Taylor House when I visited mother and even after mother passed. I loved the Sundays rocking on the front porch with all of you. We had lots of laughs. My mother dearly loved your mother and made it her mission to look out for and take care of her. I know mother was right there waiting on her yesterday morning when she arrived. Praying for peace and comfort for you and your family in the days to come.
