I did not know that Mr Wade had passed away. I only found out recently. Mr & Mrs Wade was my houseparents at Thompsons Childrens Home years ago.

Bill was a big part of my first steps with Christ. When I would start to think about backsliding, the LORD would impress one of the songs Brother Bill led at church. I would sing “ Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, there’s just something about that name…†and the temptation would fade away. Bill’s life had a very big impact on me, and I thank the LORD that he let me know Bill and call him a friend. His height was tall, and so was his character; for sure, Brother Bill was a Christian man among men. To Mary and the family I will pray God blesses you with comfort.
What a wonderful singer and great person! So sorry to hear the sad news. Praying for all the family.
