Bonnie Stokes Shaver, 97, of New London passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015 in her home. Her funeral will be graveside at 2 PM on Monday, November 23, 2015 in the Kendall?s Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Christian Herring o Read Obituary

May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. I have such wonderful memories of my Aunt Bonnie and especially of the Christmas lunches we had for so many years at her home. She was of strong character, smart, awesome cook (esp. that squash casserole) gifted seamstress and I always felt so welcomed when I came through her door. Thank you Aunt Bonnie for the difference you made in my life.
It has been a pleasure and a privilege to care for Mrs Bonnie these last two years and two months. I have really enjoyed caring for this dear sweet and loving lady. She loved her family and friends .God bless her sweet soul she is HOME in HEAVEN .I hope all who knew her will cherish the memories as I know I surely will .
