Betty was our neighbor and friend for over 65 years. Many happy evenings were spent on our “breezeway” - Dwight, Betty, my parents, and occasionally Graham and Doug talking and sharing their lives. Betty was loving add supportive especially during my dad’s illness and death and was so kind to my mother. Betty’s passing is a loss to our community and to Bethany Methodist Church. Condolences to Graham and his family.
She taught me to love the beach.
She was my first pen pal.
She made the best lemonade.
But most importantly, she loved unconditionally.
