Betty Morton File, 74, of Albemarle, NC passed away on December 15, 2021 in her home. Betty’s funeral service will be at Bethany United Methodist Church, Albemarle, NC on December 18, 2021 at 11:00 am with Reverend David Cochran o Read Obituary
Betty and I graduated together from ASHS….I don’t think I ever saw Betty without a sweet smile for everyone! I loved seeing her with her friends having a Tea Party, with their hats..Betty will be missed, but Heaven sees her now….. everyone loves you Betty.
Betty was a dear friend of mine for over 25 years. I am thankful for all the special memories I have through pictures of all the happy times we had with our group of friends such as Christmas get-togethers at her house, going out to eat, Tea Parties, trips to the beach and visiting with her as her health began to fail. Will miss you, Betty.
Betty was such a wonderful woman and became one of my best friends - probably the VERY BEST. She mentored me in Human Resources back when I started working at Homes by Oakwood and was responsible for my success in my career.
And no matter how apart we were, we always stayed in touch. She was always there for me - to listen to my DRAMA. Sometimes she would give advice (good advice), but she always was loving, compassionate and understanding.
I loved her dearly and I will miss her. Sending prayers and love to all of her family.

Betty and I had some great times. She was always ready to go on a road trip when I called. I really miss her, but know that she is not suffering any more. She was a wonderful friend. My thoughts and prayers for Crystal, Jessica and Kacie.
I remember so many fun days on the lake and how much Betty loved to dance. My sincere sympathy to Crystal and the rest of the family.

Saddened to hear of Ms. Betty’s passing. She was such a sweet and positive person during her time at Schult Homes. Getting to know her through my job with the Employment Office was made such a pleasurable experience by her bubbly personality and professionalism. She’ll always be special to me.
