Bernard F. McManus' Obituary
Bernard F. McManus,73, of Concord, NC, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023 in Atrium Health Cabarrus. His graveside memorial service will be 2pm Friday at Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Keith Walters officiating.
He was born June 8, 1950 in Mecklenburg County to the late Benjamin Franklin McManus and Dorothy Adams McManus. Bernard was a graduate of Wingate College. He was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church, and he loved fishing, golf, NASCAR, and Panther football. He was a former employee of AAA Cooper Transportation.
Mr. McManus is survived by his wife, Sheila Ann Brooks McManus of the home. He is also survived by two sons, Jason McManus of Concord, NC, and Brian McManus (Keri) of Raleigh, NC; two brothers, Darryle McManus (Darnell) of Locust, NC and Darren McManus (Pam) of Monroe, NC; a sister, Toleah Poplin (Bill) of Stanfield, NC and three grandchildren, Lukus McManus, Aiden McManus and Grant McManus.
