Our family is very blessed to know the McManus family. My kids think of Bernard as their adopted grandfather. He loved to tell them stories. He was very loved by my family. He will be missed.
I worked for Bernard for many, many years starting with Carolina Consolidators then when he started WOSCA and then with AAACT. He was such a kind man. A great man to work for. He took a chance on me when he started WOSCA and I will never forget it. He was always there to help in any way he could. Him and his wife Sheila were good friends to me especially Sheila. I know her heart is breaking. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I know he will be missed so much.
I worked for AACT for 12 years and knew Bernard "aka Bernie" the entire time, there wasn't a nicer person/coworker than he was. He was friendly and would help you in any way possible. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing, and offer condolences to his family. Charles Jones
