My belated condolences to Yaeko and family.When my family first moved to Monroe, NC - I didn’t have any family close by and missed my grandparents terribly. Archie told me he would be my NC grandpa and that meant the world to me.He always had peppermints for my brother and eye. Always told us jokes and amazing stories. I hate that I didn’t keep in touch over the years.Archie and family will always live in my heart.
Sorry for your loss. My father and I had a lot of fun working with Archie. I don't know how many pieces of peppermint candy he ate. He always had some and would share with me.Another story I recall was him telling a carpenter on the job they needed to set their nails in the wood better so he could putty them. He said he came back from lunch and someone nailed his paint brush to the floor. The carpenter said looks like you need a hammer.Great memories God bless
RIP Archie. You will be missed by many! My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Yaeko, Tony and Debbie and Jamie and Melanie! May God grant you all the peace and comfort you need in the days ahead! I love you all!

I can remember all the good this man as brought forth to my family I was going thought alot of trails of being able to bare a child and he would stop by after work or in between a job just to stop by to pray or let me know how he was praying for me and he we will was able to adopt a child he would still stop pray and thank GOD for his amazing loved that GOD gave us I will truly miss him and know how he love was for GOD and all the children at church RIp Archie I'll miss you

Sadness can overtake us when a loved one dies, but according to Job 14: there is hope even for a tree because if it is cut down it will sprout again. John 5:28-29, Acts 24:15, Isaiah 24:15 are promised to those who die. Looking forward with you to the wonderful day when those we miss awaken from their sleep.
