Alexander "Alex" Keith Naples Jr.'s Obituary
Alexander Naples Jr., 34, of Stanfield, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Greater Life Church-Locust. The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 7 pm prior to the service. Please come as you are. Your presence is the greatest gift you can give our family as we gather to honor and celebrate Alex's life.
Born on June 5, 1992, in Tampa, Florida, Alex is, and will always be, the beloved son of Alexander and Carol Naples. Even as a toddler, Alex would proudly proclaim that he was Batman; a playful reflection of the childlike wonder, imagination, and joy that remained with him throughout his life. Fittingly, he named his faithful canine companion Harley Quinn, whose unwavering loyalty brought him comfort, love, and happiness through his last days.
Alex was a spirited, fun-loving man whose larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and adventurous spirit brought laughter and joy to family and friends. Full of energy and known for his endearing clumsiness, Alex was an avid gamer who also enjoyed soccer and football. Many may not know that he was a talented trombone player and proudly marched with the Myers Park High School Mustangs marching band.
He had a passion for cooking and found joy in preparing meals for those he loved. Above all, Alex cherished his family. From the very beginning, he adored his older brother, Brandon. In fact, Alex took his first steps at just eight months old because he was determined to keep up with his sibling.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving parents, Alexander and Carol Naples; his brother, Brandon Naples, and wife, Mariza; his treasured niece, Eleanor; his maternal aunt, Jennifer Miller, and husband, Jimmy; his cousins, Corina and Cheyenne; his aunts, Tina, Michelle, and Karen; his cousins, Laetitia, Dennis, and Yannick; his paternal grandparents, Alfred and Shirley Naples; his paternal aunts, Rachel, and Monica and husband, Terry; his paternal uncles, Steve and wife, Ginger, and David and wife, Ammie.
Alex will be remembered for his infectious laugh, playful sarcasm, kind heart, adventurous spirit, and the joy he brought to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Although his time with us was far too brief, the memories he created and the love he shared will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends. May those memories bring comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead.
