Wilson Lee Cole's Obituary
Wilson Lee Cole, 82, of Albemarle passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 in his home. His funeral will be graveside at 2:30 PM Monday, June 7, 2021 in Stanly Gardens of Memory with Pastor Jonathan Chapell officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside 30 minutes prior to the hour of the service.
Born August 3, 1938 in Stanly County, NC he was the son of the late Platte and Clarcie Huneycutt Cole. He was a former employee of Wiscassett Mills and retired from E J Snyder and Co. He attended The Gathering. Mr. Cole loved to watch birds and deer and enjoyed traveling to the mountains and the beach. He dearly loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Cole. Survivors include son Louis McSwain of Chattanooga, TN, daughters Jayne Eudy (Paul) of Albemarle, Vanetta George of Kannapolis and Virginia Graves (Bill) of Kirkland, WA, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A brother Bob Cole preceded him in death.
The family requests that memorials be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 1024 Albemarle Rd., #904, Troy, NC 27371.
