Willma Banks Lowder's Obituary
Willma Banks Rummage Lowder, 92, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Trinity Place. Her funeral service will be 1:30pm Friday, August 27, 2021 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel with Rev. Ron Loflin officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethesda Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm until 1:30pm at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle.
Mrs. Lowder was born August 29, 1928 in Stanly, NC to the late Nathen Allen Rummage and Vera Mae Curlee Rummage. She was a nursing assistant for Stanly Memorial Hospital for many years. Banks was a member of South Albemarle Baptist Church.
Banks is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Junior Lowder on October 12, 2001. She is survived by her son, Robert Craige Lowder and wife Vicki; daughter, Joellen Lowder Teeter and husband, Jeff; four grandchildren, Kesha Smith (Chris), Heidi Crayton (Chad), Jill Todd (Brad) and Abbey Burd (Jason) and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lowder was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Bryan Curlee.
The family is grateful for the love and care given by the staff of Trinity Place to Banks over the past four years.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trinity Place, 24724 US-52, Albemarle, NC 28001.
