Dearest Pat: My sincere thoughts, love and prayers are with you, as well as are heartfelt blessings for God's healing and comforting hand to guide through this period of such profound grief.
We warmly share so many of the wonderful memories shared by Joyce. Bill was a man who made the ordinary extraordinary! He gave generously of his time, talents and gifts. Our class shared suppers with Bill and his dearly loved Pat who delighted us with the opportunity to shoot potatoes from their porch. So many at Weddington knew his man well and our class celebrated their love and wonderful wedding. So we send heartfelt condolences to you, Pat and family. We are consoled by God's spirit that you know where Bill is now and you will be with him again.
My heartfelt condolences go out to you, Pat, and your family in the loss of Bill. His memory will forever live in the hearts of the Weddington folks who continue to enjoy the beautiful Sanctuary and Family Life Building thanks to his ability and engineering knowledge as he led the construction. His kindness and humility were felt by all who came in contacf with him, and we were so delighted when the two of you found each other. As you grieve your loss, remember the good times and know that you will meet again in Heaven. Blessings to you and your family.
I am so very sorry to hear this sad news! I have so many fond memories of Bill -- in Sunday School and Covenant Groups at Weddington UMC, serving on various committees at church, hearing about his times and competitions with Pedro, sharing SO MANY mission trips to Costa Rica and the Hugee area of South Carolina. Bill was always so patient, witty, wise, generous and kind and we loved him very much. So much, that we worked with him to secretly strategize how to get Pat to accept a dinner invitation for a first date -- and the rest is history! He was so excited and could not believe that the incomparable Pat Plyler would even give him a second glance! Pat - I know that you both waited a long time to meet and be the best partner for each other and I am so sad that you are now separated. But, I know you have faith that you will be reunited with Bill in heaven. I am just so sorry that this has happened.
Pat, we are so sorry for your loss. May your wonderful memories and your love give you comfort and peace.

Pat, so sorry for your loss and pray that you will feel the comfort and peace that only God can provide. May the memories you shared be with you as you grieve his loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

One of my favorite memories is when he asked us to come watch him ride Pedro! Oh, he was so proud! Such a good neighbor and friend! So glad he married you, Pat! A blessing for both! Sending lots of love, hugs, and prayers! He will be missed!
