William John Rupp, age 74 of Badin, NC passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 in?Carolinas Healthcare System-Northeast, Concord, NC. ?His service will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 2, 2016 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel, Albemarle, NC. ?The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Mr. Rupp was born July 20, 1942 in Monroe, MI to the late William Wayne Rupp and?Gretchen Geisler Rupp. ?He was car men with DT&I Railroad in Flat Rock, MI. ?He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Mr. Rupp is survived by his wife Gail Davis Rupp of the home. ?Other survivors includes?two daughters, Rebecca Dail and husband John of Badin, NC and Yvonne Poythress of Albemarle, NC, a son, Duane Short of Monroe, MI, a sister, Nancy Rupp of TN, eight grandchildren Christian and Brett Rupp, Ryan Dial, Sindee Faggart, Courtney, Joseph and Shawn Warren and Alexandria Short, ten great-grandchildren, Donovan Rupp, Amyia Dail, Willow Rupp, Maci Short, Ezra and Evie Warren, Jensie, Adriana and Nathan Davis and Brice Warren.
