William Norton Pease's Obituary
William Norton Pease, 72, of Albemarle passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Prospect Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Darrell Huneycutt and Rev. Donald Ray Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the church sanctuary from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Born November 23, 1946 in Fort Pierce, FL, he was the son of the late Joseph Norton Pease, Jr. and Sophronia Elizabeth Meigs. He was a retired mechanic with the Air National Guard at Badin, NC. He was also a veteran of the US Air Force. ?Norton was a member of Prospect Baptist Church where he was very involved in the choir and Sunday School. He loved to drive the countryside and was highly involved in community events.
Norton is survived by a son Jonathan L. Pease (Cameron) of Leland, NC, and a daughter Allison P. Brooks (Daniel) also of Leland, NC; grandchildren Tucker Pease, Tessa Pease, Piper Brooks, Lilith Brooks; sister Nona P. Morcock (John) of Savannah, GA.; niece Rebecca Yapejian (Ara); and nephew Joseph Morcock (Colleen).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Prospect Baptist Church, 502 Prospect Church Road, Albemarle, NC 28001.
